Jesus also used this illustration to describe the Kingdom of God.

Matthew 13:45   the best pearls Pearls in Jesus' day were rare and valuable. Do you value God's Kingdom as much as the merchant? Are you keeping an eye out for God's Kingdom? What are you willing to give up to follow in God's way?

Then he said, "I assure you, unless you turn from your sins and become as little children, you will never get into the Kingdom of Heaven. Therefore, anyone who becomes as ________ as this little child is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven." Matthew 18:3

A "humble" person is someone who is unselfish, knows they need God, and listens to God. What else do you think it means?
One day some parents brought their little children to Jesus so he could touch them and bless them, but the disciples told them not to bother him. Then Jesus called for the children and said to the disciples, "Let the children come to me. Don't stop them! For the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these. I assure you, anyone who doesn't have their kind of ____ will never get into the Kingdom of God." Luke 18:15   faith Jesus was pointing out that young children are quick to believe, follow and love. They don't worry about wealth, power and the future like adults do. Do you?
