Some XP and Windows 2000 owners have reported sound and access problems
with older versions of the Life of Christ CD.

If your Life of Christ CD says "version 3.0" on the CD's label, you already have the latest version.
If it says 1.0 or 2.0, or nothing about a version on the label, then you need this patch to run it on W2000 and XP.

The following download is a Windows XP update for the Life of Christ Software that will help.
It will most likely ALSO help solve any Life of Christ audio problem with Win2000 and Win Me.

This XP patch will not allow you to run Life of Christ in a "limited user account."
You must start Life of Christ in the main Admin account if using XP.

Patch Download

1. Click on this LINK download a new installer (8.2 mb) or click here... http://www.sky-media.com/loc/xpupdate.htm

2. Save the file to your desktop. If the computer where you have installed Life of Christ is not connected to the internet, download the patch and burn it to a CD.

3. Once the file is downloaded you will see a file named "locupdate.exe" on your desktop. You can copy this file to a CD and transport it to any computer where LOC is located, and install it there.

4. Double click on the "locupdate.exe" file and follow the installation instructions.

5. Once Updated, your copy of Life of Christ will ONLY WORK IF YOU ALSO HAVE INSTALLED QUICKTIME 4.0 OR HIGHER. (Version 1 and 2 came with Quicktime 2.1.)  Now that you have downloaded the patch, you need to install version 4 or higher of Quicktime.

It too can be downloaded and copied to your desktop and transferred to a CD.
