Timothy & Titus – Teaching Faith, Hope and Love
Timothy & Titus is a unique Christian computer game that teaches key Christian concepts in a fun,way reinforced by scripture displayed on-screen throughout the game. The images, characters and concepts are right out of the New Testament and experience of early church. The action is 3D video-game, but without the violence often found in such games.
 
What is ‘Timothy & Titus’ all about?
‘Timothy & Titus’ presents fictional adventures of St Paul’s disciples, Timothy and Titus (T&T), as they adventure across the lands of early Christianity spreading God’s Word, and performing miracles of healing and conversion in the name of Christ. The game revolves around 3 key gameplay concepts:

Love is the lifeblood of Timothy and Titus: Run out of love and T&T lose hope. Love is found in many and varied places; helping widows in need, from pacifying enemies, in the beauty of God’s creations- T&T will find love in many places along their adventures.

Faith powers the gifts of T&T to perform many wondrous tasks in the name of the Lord --just like they do in the New Testament. They include: like healing the sick, driving out evil spirits and performing miracles. Faith, like love, is found in many places, like the converting of sinners or in the dark places when faith is most needed. Hope allows T&T to continue when beset by obstacles like hatred or dangerous lands, and allows them to continue their mission in Christ.
 
Prayer is the other of T&T’s most powerful gifts...just like in real life. In the game, praying for those around them will protect T&T, convert sinners and save them when surrounded by vicious enemies.

Timothy and Titus, just as in their real life adventures, are blessed with Gifts of the Holy Spirit to aid them in their ministry:

• Finger of God – To drive out evil spirits and battle demons

• Pacify - Subduing aggressive enemies

• Healing - Heals the sick and can replenish T&T’s love

• Armor of God – Protects T&T, making them invulnerable to attacks of the evil one and his minions

• Miracle- Performing an extremely powerful Miracle to deliver them from all evil

GAME PLAY SECRETS!

The Word of God (left-click) does not test your Faith to use, so if you ever find your faith running low, always remember the Gospel! You can charge it by holding left click to achieve a more powerful effect.

If you find yourself surrounded by enemies on all sides, Pray for deliverance my son! (right-click) Holding down right-click will create a more powerful prayer/

Hold Shift to find out what certain enemies are vulnerable to  For example- Evil spirits are very vulnerable to being driven out by the 'Hand of God'.

If you are ever running low on Love or Faith, remember that your dear friend Titus is there to support you, as you are for him. Switch to the other character using ‘Q’ to help out and keep your hope up!

Mastering your double jump (double tapping spacebar) and cannonball throw (‘C’) will help a lot with jumping obstacles in your path   In mid air, you can use ‘W’ and ‘S’ to move more or less during the cannonball— this can help a lot with very large gaps.

Finding 10 Rhema crystals will give you extra Hope- they are commonly found in areas you may not normally look.

Roman Soldiers are everywhere - while their shield is up they won't listen to anything you have to say! Be patient, my son, and wait until they begin attacking or moving. The Gospel is very powerful on them, even against the dagger throwing Roman agents!

LEVEL SECRETS!  ("spoilers" here)

Burning Rome

• Burning Rome is filled with jumping puzzles and fire! The following tips will help you navigate through to find the letter thief:

• Use Timothy’s cannonball to help you clear the platforms quickly

• Double jumps are very important here for reaching higher pillars

• The fire looks perilous, but it’s not as bad as it looks- just be a little careful in avoiding the fires and jump out quickly to avoid losing too much Love

• Watch out for short rolling areas, remember to use ‘S’ when Timothy is rolling to avoid falling off the edge

• There is a family to be rescued in a burning home, Titus will need to use his jump slam or bash the door down to rescue them! There is also a despairing man in a room off the burning hallway that can be rescued

• Prayer works well when surrounded by the Harbormaster and his cronies

EPHESUS

• You’ll need to get underneath the pagan temple to find that meteorite! Remember to use Titus’ jump slam and smash to open the way ahead

• The tunnels underneath the temple are ery small, and only Timothy can roll through!; Remember to use W and S to roll faster or slower. Watch out for steam and holes in the ground!

• Moving blocks over the canyon: Use cannonball and double jump to get you across this perilous area! If you stick to the far left of the blocks you can avoid much danger

• The big area with the meteorite can be confusing, but don’t lose heart! To get to the rooms you need to go, Titus needs to jump slam the colored blocks to raise certain blocks while lowering others—it’s a big puzzle for you to sole to be able to get higher and reach the rooms. The leer in the middle resets them for you to be able to try again. You’ll need to switch between Timothy and Titus for their double jump and jump slam

• Push an aqua block down as far as you can (3 slams) while slamming the purple and pink ones down 2 slams and 1 slam respectively. Then use Timothy to double jump all the way up the blocks!

• When you have exposed the meteor, it’s time for Titus to destroy it once and for all! There’s an amplify to help you battle the evil spirits, and there are many in the catacombs that follow!

• If you have visited Antioch and have the ‘Hand of God’, it works wonders here
  Use Titus to smash the rocks, quickly before the water rises too far!

• Minion of Evil—Watch out for his head cannonball! Jump out of the way as soon as he starts his attack

CORINTH

• Stuck at the closing gate? Use the speed power up and a well timed roll to just squeeze Timothy under the gate

• After pacifying the angry mob (prayer and the gospel are both very powerful here), speak to the Christian using ‘E’ to get the key for the gate

• Once the other Christian gathering has given you the key, there’s a way through the sewers to visit the next Christian gathering, that is shown by the cutscene. The steel platform raises quickly, so jump on the barrels to make sure you don’t miss it as it goes back up!

• The aqueducts can be very tricky to navigate! Double jump and cannonball with Timothy to get through (don’t forget to use W or S sometimes while cannonballing.. take it one platform at a time, save your game lots, and you’ll be fine!

• After the third Christian gathering (past some Pharisees), Roman Agents are waiting, daggers drawn! The Gospel is powerful here (especially charging it), as is prayer used for all of the agents at once. You may need to switch to Titus for more Love!

• Possessed people and witches are good people at heart- use the ‘Finger of God’ to drive the evil spirits away!
  Watch out for falling platforms..

• There’s more Hope on a ledge on the other side of the canyon

• There’s a wolf inside a case not like the normal wolves.. an evil spirit resides in it that is best driven out by the Finger of God.. watch out for more evil spirits and witches as you move further into the mountain! If you don’t have the Finger of God yet, Gospel and Prayer will always work wonders..

• The Minion of Confusion can be ..er, confusing! Use Prayer and the Finger of God to great effect here

 CRETE

• The jumping puzzles at the beginning can be very frustrating! Use cannonball and ‘W’ and ‘S’.. and stay on the dark pieces of wood as they don’t fall

• Using long cannonball jumps right after one another is probably the easiest way to get across the first bridges, and timing your jumps to land on the spinning pieces on the later bridge

• The long spinning platform: tapping the button using ‘E’ will start it spinning , you need to get into the little cave before you can open the way to the big cave door. Cannonball into the little cave to push the button—Timothy doesn’t need to roll inside here. Another cannonball will get you into the big cave entrance

• In the big cavern, you need to get to the door on the other side, opening it using the button on the top left ledge first. Timing your cannonballs is very important here, as some of the smaller platforms drop down slowly.. you’ll need to get to the long middle rotating platform to get to the left ledge, or a looong cannonball from the 3rd platform can get you there too.. if you make a mistake with the dropping platforms, use the button at the floor near the beginning to reset them

• There are some bonuses on a high platform to the left, watch out for the ghost!

• Evil spirits and wolves are everywhere around the village- Finger of God and prayer are your best weapons here

• The ledges and caves around the sides of the village have some bonuses if you can find them..

• Be careful of your jumps in the ice caverns! The rhema crystal (purple) can guide you to the way to go, through a very narrow passageway, use the cannonball to get there

• Some very careful double jumps and cannonballs are needed in the next cavern

• The minion of fear has a debilitating fear blast! It moves slowly, but homes in without error-  the Armor of God can protect you! Otherwise, Finger of God is powerful, as well as Prayer

ROME

• The Roman soldiers are many, and remember to watch out for their shields- while they are up your abilities will just bounce back

• There is an amplify power up in the Christian’s house up the ramp once inside Rome

• IMPORTANT: Jars in each of the houses in the upper rooms contains keys you’ll need to proceed—have Titus smash them to gain the key. The easiest way up it to double jump from the awnings to the roof and have Titus jump slam the tiles

• Once you have 3 keys, drop down onto the platforms at the back from the roof

• The last key you need is in the room below in the crate, then you can unlock all the doors—there you will find the letter thief at last! And gain the last power—Miracle

ROMAN PRISON

• To get out of the prisons, you’ll need to open the door to a cell that can be broken out of—make sure buttons II and III are pushed down, and go to the prison cell at the end with the weak bricks on one side, and have Titus smash the way out!

CIRCUS MAXIMUS

• To save Diana, you have many gifts of the Holy Sprit—a Miracle near Diana will surely save her!

• Miracle also works well against Emperor Nero and his soldiers—or use Armor of God, Pacify and Prayer to pacify them! Nero is vulnerable to the Gospel and the Hand of God

• Once Emperor Nero is vanquished, the true enemy shows himself- a tremendous demon and his minions! You will need much hope to battle them

• Use Armor of God to protect yourself well, and Finger of God to drive out the evil spirits, then Gospel if your Faith is running low… collect the love and faith from previous enemies to help fuel your fight!

• If you get stuck fighting the minion of evil (red demon.. his head butt can easily catch you over and over) try using Timothy’s double jump to jump away…

• The other minions have the same tactics that you have faced before: use strafe to stay out of the minion of disease’s blasts, and use Prayer or Finger of God against the minion of confusion and his dopplegangers

• The final demon is very tough, but is vulnerable to charged Gospel (but you need to get within a very close range, and uncharged Gospel attacks will be ineffective), and Finger of God. Use the Armor of God to protect you! Lots of hope is needed to prevail…
