Now you can help Timothy and Titus retrieve Paul's letters that have been stolen by the Romans.
"Become the hero God chose you to be!" This game teaches core Christian values and introduces players to the storyline, characters and antagonists of the Early Church. Bible verses from Paul are presented throughout. The game revolves around three key concepts: Faith, Hope and Love. These 'powers' need to be replenished throughout the game through a variety of actions. For example, healing a sick person, or helping a widow, or pacifying enemies and obstacles. Encountering a variety of people, Timothy and Titus will share Bible verses and prayer which also 'strengthens' them to continue their quest. These images, powers, strengths and verses are right out of Paul's letters to the church. This is a challenging game for real GAMERS. Multiple levels and challenging play make this an epic best suited for players with gaming experience and plenty of time. This game does not fit into the typical class time length. How you play... Gamers toggle between the characters of Timothy and Titus. Each of the characters has different, complementary strengths and abilities. You switch between the two at any time to overcome obstacles and meet challenges. Timothy can double jump and roll in small spaces. Strong Titus can break crates and rocks. The player runs down paths, jumps across gorges and rivers, goes through caves and visits cities. Wild animals, feisty soldiers and tricksters try to impede their progress. Characters in the story talk with Timothy and Titus. Bonus abilities appear as objects to be won throughout the terrains. Timothy and Titus build up their powers of faith, hope and love, and use them to overcome game situations. These 'power' themes are nicely done, not cheesy, and the special effects with them are great. Bible verses pop on screen throughout the game. To calm wild animals and angry attacking people (the time of the early Church was fraught with peril), Timothy and Titus can fire blasts of teaching power and light. Thankfully... nobody dies or gets hurt. Those seeking to stop the saints just lie down or kneel. This is quite a departure from secular games and some Christian games in which opponents are killed. --But the action is still compelling. Gamers control characters through the keyboard and mouse in a classic 3D action adventure platform game spanning across 4 different levels, and hours of play. The sound track is rich, as are the graphics and special effects.

The
Story...
As
Timothy and Titus seek to recover the stolen
letters, their adventures lead them across the ancient lands of
Crete, Ephesus and Rome to unravel the mystery of
the stolen letters. They will also spread the Christian message to those
they encounter along the way— from pagans and Roman soldiers, to
grieving widows and angry Pharisees!
Specs:
The
onscreen player icons (seen right) keep track of how much faith,
hope and love Timothy and Titus have to accomplish their tasks. Love is
replenished by acts of spreading the word, helping a sick person, and
praying for others along the game path. Faith is increased as the player
prays for others and overcomes hatred or evil. Hope is required for the
saint to not be discouraged or exhausted. It is collected by
