relatively new. Others were made years ago and work great on today's
computers. We don't discriminate against older software. I strongly do not recommend starting a Bible computer lab with "quite old" computers (which I generally define as "more than 6 years old"). "Quite old" will severely limit your choices, and create frustration. I understand that for some of you, older equipment is your only option for the time being, hence this list. |
Recommended programs in our catalog that will run on "quite a bit older" computers

Pathways Through Jerusalem -a marquee program. Simply wonderful, witty, and deep. Ages 10 to adult. One of the oldest program in the catalog --and yet it looks like it was made yesterday. WAY ahead of its time when it first came out. 133mhz, 16 megs of RAM, 8X CD or faster recommended. Win 95/98/Me/XP. Mac 7.1 - 9.x, 48030 or higher. Will not run in Vista. Still an amazing program!
Actual Reality --the hip multimedia program for teens and pre-teens. A great discussion starter and popular gift CD. Will run on a 90mhz and higher computer. 16 megs of RAM, 8X CD or faster recommended. Win 95/98/Me/XP/Vista. Mac 7.6 -9.x.
Birth of Jesus (the last remaining title from the once popular Interactive Kids Series. Ages K-6th. Will run on 66 mhz, 16 megs of RAM, 4x CD, Windows 95/98/Me/XP/Vista, Mac 48030, 7.6/8/9.
Life of Christ -Our #2 seller because it's excellent, and it's about Jesus. Study guides and lesson helps galore when you get this program from us. Ages 9 to adult. Will run on 90mhz. Windows 98/Me/XP/Vista.
Play and Learn Children's Bible...50 Bible interactive Bible stories for early readers and preschoolers ages 4 through 8. Will run on 66 mhz, 16 megs of RAM, 4x CD, Windows 95/98/Me/XP, Mac 48030, 7.6 or higher.
Bible Crosswords & Bible Wordsearch ...description and graphics. Ages 8 to adult. Will run on 100 mhz, 16 megs of RAM, 4x CD, Windows 95/98/Me/XP/Vista only.
Two Christian Software Games ...with varying degrees of content: Super 3-D Noah and Exodus. Each of these games is a DOS based game. They are some of the oldest titles in our catalog but still REALLY fun programs. DOS/Windows. 486 or higher. Windows 98/Me/XP.
