Teaching
with Computers in Christian Education
the book by Neil MacQueen
This is the new &
completely re-written version of my 1997 and 2001 books titled
"Computers,
Kids and Christian Education,"
which were originally
published by Augsburg Fortress.
They did not want to update the 2001 book with new information and ideas,
so I've written a completely new text which will be updated every year.

Begins shipping May 8th, 2006 A special feature of this book is that it's Spiral Bound so you can lay it flat on a copier to copy pages out of it. I encourage you to make copies of important pages and pass them around to Introduce the idea of computers in CE and to Train your teachers. Why get this book? Because it will help you avoid some common costly mistakes with computers and software. And it will help you train your teachers year after year. My original book, Computers, Kids and Christian Education, was published by Augsburg Fortress in February 1997 and revised in 2001. It has been purchased by denominational and non-denominational resource centers, bookstores and conference book tables across the theological spectrum. It was the only comprehensive book on the subject. The original book was based on my original "manual" first published in 1993 as a set of seminar handouts. In 2006 I completely rewrote the text from scratch, adding many updates and adding in elements of my Training Packet which used to also be sold at this website. We are now self-publishing the book, and Augsburg can now get it from us. This new book will be updated every year. Self publishing this book has several advantages:
