Please note: the LIFE OF MOSES CD is no longer in print. This material is for those who already own it.

Before teaching with this CD, check to make sure the VIDEOS work in the Bible Time Theater section of the program. If the curtain just opens and closes without playing the video, you need to open the CD's files and double-click on the Quicktime Installation program (often abbreviated QT32.exe). Follow the prompts. The videos require this program to be installed from the CD. If you get a "3mb Virtual Memory" or "xobglu16.dll" error message, see our solution for Noah CD at

Life of Moses

Teaching Tip: The Life of Moses CDs covers birth, call and plagues/exodus. It doesn't cover much after the Red Sea.

Discover the Bible

The Discover section contains approximately 20 chapters of the Exodus scripture. The story graphic buttons and arrows on the side allow you to jump through the 20 chapters directly to the stories pictured -HOWEVER, you can also navigate page by page using the left and right hands on the bottom of the screen. Kids Application notes and articles are scattered throughout the pages. Any portion can be "read aloud" by clicking the traffic light. You now have a "talking Bible" on your hands for most of the stories in the Exodus! Each of the Kids Application Notes has lesson potential. Have students read or hear the passage first (noted on bottom of Kids Application Note screen) then read the associated note. Give them questions to answer. This will help focus their reading and listening. Consider creating your own worksheet to steer them through the Moses CD with "things to go look for and research." You may want to keep track of the Application Notes you have used over time in your lessons by recording them in a notebook.
