(Not currently in order)
Event Day What I could do to commemorate it Key scripture phrase Jesus drove out the money changers in the Temple Sunday This day is silent in the Biblical record. Monday Jesus Lay in the Tomb Tuesday Jesus made his entrance into Jerusalem. Wednesday Jesus raised from the dead. Thursday Jesus entered the Temple courts and was involved in teaching. Friday Jesus was tried before Pilate and was nailed to the cross. Saturday The Last Supper Sunday After completing the exercise, check that it is correct by comparing notes with another group student.
Then... To the right of each day, write out something YOU could do to commemorate this day. Think of an action that matches up with Jesus' actions, mood, meaning. For example, on the day which is silent in the Biblical record, YOU could be silent for two hours that day. Share your thoughts with others.
If time.....Record a summary of ideas on a large piece of butcher paper and post in the church hallway. Create a takehome handout to place at the display for others. On the handout, include two lines of scripture for each day.
