The Honorable Mentions

These "honorable mentions" stood out for the stories they told and/or their visual interest and composition.

Blake Peterson at Northpark Presbyterian in Dallas TX has gone to great efforts to reduce sound in a small "live" room. Note the acoustic foam forming carrels and as a low-wall divider. Blake notes that his room was "too hard" without it (he means "noisy"). He also says that the carrels provide a cozy nook to keep eyes from wandering too much.

Notice also his printouts of graphics from various programs and the "wall of certificates" from kids using the Life of Christ CD.

Kenton Lynne's lab uses acoustic foam cut in fun shapes to reduce sound reverb between computers and a brick wall.

Notice the FAN too. Bet the white noise helps, as does the cooler air.
