Christian Education Software for Adults

While known mostly for our children and youth software, Sunday Software has long carried titles that appeal to adults, teachers, pastors, and Bible students. Below is a listing of what you can find at our site that just might fit your interest.

All of the following titles are being used in churches, homes, seminaries and adult education classes. If you'd like more help selecting one that's right for you or your students, email neil@sundaysoftware.com   Click here to view our list of software for all ages.

Pathways Through Jerusalem ~ the famous 2 CD set. Undoubtedly our most popular title for adult education. Every Christmas this is the most "gifted" program in our catalog.

HolyLand 3-D CD ~ a Bible Atlas you can "fly through". Eye-catching, attention grabbing technology for personal study, or for projecting on a screen or in a sanctuary.

Walking in Their Sandals Bible Atlas CD  ~ a refreshing look at how the Biblical landscape informs the Biblical story. Terrific articles, mucho videos.

iLUMINA BIBLE Gold Premium edition ~ the finest multimedia Bible software available today. The entire Bible linked to a huge database of Bible tools, study helps, maps, and a large quantity of multimedia, including virtual tours. So big it comes on 5 CD or 1 DVD for your computer.

Ten Commandments CD ~ we made it for kids and youth, but the adults enjoy the 360 panorama "photobubbles" shot on location at Mt. Sinai. The view from the top is great.

Life of Christ CD ~ originally developed for teens, I can't count the number of times teachers and older adults have told me that THEY enjoyed this program's deep media and study resources about Jesus.

Adult Classes love Quiz Programs!

We have quite a few customers using Fall of Jericho CD to create game quizzes for their adult ed classes. This is the generation that loves game shows!

A surprising number of adults also enjoy our game programs, including the four level "about the Bible" quizzes in Bongo Love the Bible CD.

Projecting Software in Adult Education

Many Adult Education teachers "project" our software, along with their Powerpoint presentations, using an LCD projector connected to their laptop. LCD projectors can also be hooked up to DVD players and VCRs.

Multimedia grabs the attention of adults as well as children. It drives home content into the areas of the brain wired for images and color.

Quite a few of our CDs also get projected during children, youth and adult worship services.

Today's LCD or DLP* projectors cost LESS than film projectors did 30 years ago when adjusted for inflation. Portable projector prices begin around $700. Their brightness is measured in "lumens," so consider the amount of ambient light in the room where you will be using it. A 2000 lumen projector is extremely suitable for most church uses, though in a large sanctuary you might want something more.

Remember to add-in to your purchase the cost of a good set of amplified speakers. The speakers found on most projectors are weak. For a very large room, you may want a professional sound system. For most classrooms and software/video use, a good set of computer speakers will do nicely.

*LCD and DLP are two forms of projector technology. Either is good to go with.
