Abraham & Sarah CD Reviews
Here's
a portion of the email review sent to us by Pam from the Presbyterian
Church in Mercer Pa:
Neil, I just went through the
whole Abe CD. WOW ! WOW ! WOW !
It has everything: neat effects, graphics, music, color, a game,
and even enough "teacher stuff" to keep us teachers
happy. It was a big success. I shared it with the other teacher
Friday and her daughter played it at home, loved it and wanted
to play the map game and quiz over and over and still wanted
to be right on the computer in class today. The little brother
liked it too. With Abraham and Sarah it was so nice to have materials
that are designed intentionally for a computer lab. Thank you.
Will look forward to the next ones too.
Doris
Popp, a Presbyterian Christian educator in Plano Texas had this
to say:
The
wonderful opening will get the attention of the children and
"pull them in" before the lesson even begins. Everything
about the Covenant section is "eye opening" - this
multimedia approach will even reach (down to) even 1st and 2nd
graders. Regarding the angel's visit with Sarah section - all
I can say is WONDERFUL! And the Pay it Forward Certificate activity
is a great idea.
Thomas
J. Cook, a Southern Baptist Sunday School Computer Lab teacher
in Gahanna Ohio had this to say:
Really
all excellent. The navigation is simple, intuitive.... Excellent
value and resource for leading children to learn, appreciate
and apply this Biblical story. Great job!

Beth
wins the award for sending us the most comprehensive written
evaluation. Funny thing is, Beth didn't need the CD anymore --our
release date had gone past her scheduled Sunday Abraham lessons.
She had cancelled her order, but we accidentally sent it to her
anyway 60 days after she needed it. Curious, she opened it and
used it with her multi-age weekday classes. Beth's 2nd and 3rd
graders declared it "AWESOME." One of her 6th graders
said "This is so cool... I 'm so glad you bought it."
Said Beth, "Great job of including stuff for all ages."
"It's all good or great."

I
just had to let you know how very impressed I am with the Abraham
and Sarah CD you have created. It is so amazing! The music is
wonderful! The teacher guide is the best you have ever done.
It made my job of pulling together the lesson a piece of cake.
I wish we could spend the entire 4 week rotation just in the
computer lab! I may let my older kids schedule a time to come
back just so they can do more. It is all so good, I just couldnt
decide what to leave out!

We
used Abraham CD today in our class. The kids were having a blast
and even filling out their worksheets. When they got to the
music on Sarah's Song I had two boys using their pencils as drum
sticks. One was our youth minister's son. It was great to
have them excited about a CD and only one wanted to know
when we got to the games. LOL :)
