The song files are brief selections from three of the four songs written specifically as "teaching songs" for our Abraham and Sarah CD. They are in mono wave file format for quicker web download. On the interactive CD, each song is in full stereo, hi-fi, and accompanied by some terrific graphics and animation.

Music is a very attractive learning device. It complements the other learning approaches in the CD and elicits an emotional and reflection response unlike any other medium. In creating the music, we chose four contemporary rock 'n roll styles that will appeal to a wide audience and sound just as good five years from now as they do today.

The lyrics for each song were written specifically to teach a particular concept or create discussion on a particular subject in that place in the CD. The songs are rather brief (the clips on this page are even shorter) and the lyrics are sung "out in front" of the instruments for clear listening by students.
