HolyLand 3-D CD
 

Holyland 3-D's software is powered by Skyline's TerraExplorer application. This application is included on the HolyLand CD.

A newer version of "TerraExplorer Viewer" than is found on the CD is now available for free from Skyline at www.skylineglobe.com. It has some great improvements recommended for all HolyLand 3-D users. It must be installed after you install HolyLand 3-D from the CD.

Those wishing to run Holyland 3-D in Windows Vista must download the free version 5.0 of TerraExplorer Viewer from www.SkylineGlobe.com  Go to their page and look for the link to the free viewer.

TerraExplorer Version 5.0 also runs on XP! Download version 5.0 of the terrain engine now at www.skylineglobe.com   But please note: Some of our XP customers prefer the controls in version 4.0 found on the HolyLand CD. You can download v5 after installing 4 from the CD and see if you like it. If you have XP and would prefer version 4's controls, uninstall 5 using your Add/Remove in the Windows Control Panel, and reinstall v4 from the HolyLand CD.

Install Instructions: After purchasing and installing HolyLand 3-D CD completely on your computer, go to www.skylineglobe.com and download version 5.0 of the TerraExplorer terrain engine. (The CD comes with version 4.0).  It's a 7mb download. Then execute the downloaded file on the computer where you have HolyLand 3-D CD installed. It will automatically update the terrain engine from 4.0 to 5.0. It's easy to do, and you get several important improvements.

HolyLand 3-D CD comes with Volume 1 of the RØHR HOLYLAND SATELLITE ATLAS. This large hardback book features detailed color satellite maps of Israel, plus many colorful photos of Biblical sites and landscapes. It makes a great companion to the CD.
