Tech Notes for
HolyLand 3-D CD

Holyland 3-D's

better version of the application is available for free.
Windows Vista and

to a
newer version of "TerraExplorer". Windows XP

Tech Notes
-
Why does the ground will pixelate (get "fuzzier") when you fly closer to it?
Because the satellite data has a fixed resolution. Like a
photograph, the closer you get, the more you can see the pixels.
Fly above 3000 feet for better resolution.
-
Not all locations
have photos or entries.
-
If you fly "off" the
map and below sea level, you will enter darkness. Simple right
click and "reset"
your location.
-
See our 'Flying
Guide' for more helps.
-
Note: Version 6 of
the TerraExplorer engine is freely available from
Skylineglobe.com but it has been reported that the photos in the
HolyLand program don't show up with that version installed.
Revert back to 5.1 linked above.
